Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed up 47.54 points at 16,399.39, while the Hang Seng closed the morning down 39.37 points at 18,258.18.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for delivery in December, was down 3 cents at $58.33 from its close of $58.36 in the US overnight, where it had lost $2.39.

Good morning all.
Pond Life - This thread has gone very very quiet ove the last few weeks. I look at it because of the Breaking News, Charts, Greystone's reports and in particular all the Newspapers and reports on Mondays. It would be nice if there were more posts and interaction between posters similar to the old DAY thread across the road. But unfortunately that one is now rubbish as I think a few non stock ex. traders started to post offensive things. All the genuine traders left. Perhaps if all LOOKERS on this thread posted a "Good morning" we would see how many potential posters we could have here. Stan and Little woman have stopped being regular posters here. Where have they gone? Thanks for your interest Pond Life.

Top of the morning folks

porky - 31 Oct 2006 10:07 - 9 of 17

Why not take a look at CFU the aussie Ceramic Cell experts.
They already have CHP units up and running.,and they anticipate bringing to market a viable unit by about 2008.What with Climate stage taking center stage, any company with enviroment friendly technology will be the flavour of the month.
The british company Ceres has a good following, and their share price has advanced quite dramatically in the past couple of days.
If you go to CFU website you can find some very interesting news on their technolgy, and progress to date.I have a holding.

Druid2,
To much going on In life for me to be posting I'm afraid right now.

I can't speak for Little Women, but she was subjected to some unnecessary comments on here a while ago.

gekkko - 31 Oct 2006 11:59 - 12 of 17

Midday Market Roundup

Thanks for the comments above everybody. I know this thread gets a lot of visits but doesn't have the interaction its Traders Room counterpart has.

If there is anything I can do to help by adding additional information, I'll be happy to look at it. Just throw a few ideas at me and we'll see where it goes...

Meanwhile, for those regular readers and contributors, "bon chance" and all power to your trading elbows....
