V21 internet provider WARNING WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fred1new - 15 Nov 2006 14:15

Warning Warning. Especially any V21 IP users

This AM I received notice when connecting to my internet provider that V21 service had been discontinued.and if I wished to continue I could switch to Exeedsl.co.uk. Paid by direct payment through WorldPay

Which I did.

Checking my Credit Card statements I find that V21 has deducted 3 monthly payments at 19.99 for October.

Contacting my Credit card provider I am told they cant do any thing about payments and I have to contact V21.

Of course their line is constantly engaged.

I think I have been done hence my warning

V21 and T-Mobile

Thanks Bolshi, I did see the programme. It seems they are talks about talks. Doing so seems to block all their help or support lines that they have. I have stopped my Direct Debit to them but require repayment of 2-3 deductions. Suggest other users check their accounts. I am reconsidering other direct debits I have with other firms.

I give another warning about another company (my luck is in) T-Mobile. I recently obtained a datacard for them in order to make dealing easier if away from home.

The support given by the company in my opinion has been appalling.

The card may be functional and seems the majority of services functional. However, I have had problems with CMC market trading platform down loading when using the UMT system, this has been resolved now and is functional.

Further problems using the UMT when linking in to Moneyams stock page and Trade page. The web pages page frame is downloaded but the data is not. Looks good.

Moneyam were helpful, but T-mobile support system in my opinion is appalling.
After trying to get help for about 2.5 hours yesterday, being cut off and then promised to be rung back numerous times, I did eventually get to through to the technical support how help with CMC platform, but had difficulties with the Moneyams site conflicts and promised to ring me back, which was done as promised until the last promised return call since yesterday afternoon.

They advised me that they had a fix for the problem but I am still waiting for the promised return call.

Contacting them again today has taken about 1.5 hours with the repeat for drop lines , being hung listening to music , and promises by receptionists that the team will contact me.

I am still waiting.

I would suggest anybody thinking off using T-Mobile system should check out their support services.

I think they are abysmal.

I have just received my Credit card statement and I have been reimbursed 2 monthly payments from V21. The third questionable payment I am not sure whether I am entitle to it. Have to check my accounts to see whether I paid in advance or at the end of the month..

I love chasing through accounts.

T-mobile contacted me yesterday evening and are looking into the problems with down load data on various pages. The person who contacted me, was apologetic without being condescending and was helpful, and checked the problem out at her end and agreed that it needed looking into and hopefully have a solution.

It is not the Data card problem as this works happily on another ISP.
