Hello traders!

In the US tonight, The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished down 7.45 points at 12,463, with 20 of 30 components contributing to losses.

The S&P 500 slipped 2 points to 1,423 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.9 points to 2,427, with both indexes paring earlier gains.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed up 36.79 points at 17,047.83, while the Hang Seng ended the morning down 24.17 points at 19,215.95.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for delivery in February, was down 46 cents at $63.26 a barrel from $63.72 in late US trade overnight.
