Can anyone please help - I've looked around and can't see anything obviously covering this.

It seems from press comments, (always dangerous, but it does back up my own theories on this) for fairly inactive uk investors, 2007 will be the year of the large cap, as opposed to smaller caps and that several UK banks are touted as good stocks on their own merits with takeover possibilities thrown in (Barc, Lloy, RBS).

Rather than buy into all these directly, is there an I-share or a tracker fund that covers the UK banking sector? I'm loathed to go for a Unit or Investment Trust due to the wider coverage, lack of transparency, and the charges involved.
