Hello traders!

In the US, in late trading, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 55.60 at 12,677.29, and appeared headed toward a record close.

The S&P500 was up 8.14 at 1,446.38, and the Nasdaq Composite was up 6.67 at 2,470.60.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed up 27.61 points at 17,547.11, while the Hang Seng Index ended the morning up 254.57 points at 20,684.73.

New York Mercantile Exchange's main oil futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in March, was at $57.36 a barrel, up 6 cents from $57.30 in late trading in the US.
