trewinney,

The promo has been applied to your account as it should have been. canyou try logging out and back in. and then try to access it? You just need to use your trewinney account as this is the one the trial has been applied to. If you still cannot access it, please can you make sure you have any pop up blockers turned off?

Ian,
I have just signed up for the free trial, downloaded java, turned off the pop up blocker, relogged on and I am still getting the demo version of level 2. Any ideas as how to fix?

superrod - 07 Mar 2007 13:49 - 10 of 50

many thanks MAM

hasnt made me any money yet but its stopped me losing quite a lot.

is there any reason why the boxes wrt buy orders/sell orders filled % are empty?

i have tried free promo L2 before but it was for a week, so never really got to grips. hopefully this will now change.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 07 Mar 2007 13:57 - 11 of 50

superrod,

You actually enter a figure in there which will cut down the order book to within that percentage of the bid or offer price. So if you enter '1', this would then cut out everything in the order book on that side which is more than 1% away from the bid or offer (depending on which box you use).

Time Traveller - 08 Mar 2007 10:41 - 14 of 50

Ian,
Have subscribed to this free offer but the limitations of the Java on this pc ( which is controlled by an over zealous IT Dept) and the fact that I am using IE 5.5 mean that I only get a screen that allows me to enter an EPIC. Nothing happens and the screen just sits there.
Any suggestions on what I could do to make the screen show L2?
Thanks,
TT

TT,

You are going to struggle by the sounds of it - it looks like the java is not being allowed through by your IT department. The only way you could get it to work would be to ask them to allow all java from MoneyAM, but I am assuming this is not an option. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do from this end which would help,

TT.

I'm in the same boat as you. Sadly my IT department won't allow Java on my PC.

The only option I can think of is taking in a laptop.

Time Traveller - 08 Mar 2007 11:28 - 17 of 50

Keaydian, I used to do that at my last job as I had a similar problem. At least there I could use my old dialup account but not here. I have tried to piggy back onto a wireless network but all of the local ones are password protected and so no joy (yet) Someone else suggested a GPRS setup but too expensive for me at the moment. I'll just have to stick to Trades and graphs and see how I do!

Good luck, at least your allowed to use a laptop.

Time Traveller - 08 Mar 2007 11:37 - 19 of 50

maybe but not sure yet???!!

mikeylad - 08 Mar 2007 15:25 - 20 of 50

Have got the level 2 on trial, but it is as clear as mud to me can anyone point me in the right direction IE learning tools

Dieng - 08 Mar 2007 16:42 - 21 of 50

Have you looked at am 'Help' as a start. It explains why L2 exists and what the screens depict, rather than how to make money from it. I'm not sure if you are already past that stage.

Click 'Help' - Top right am page, then 'Level2' option on next page (in the very light blue boxes).
