This is Money

Is it a bubble? Yes. Is it going to burst? Absolutely. Should we worry about the imminent collapse of the Chinese stock market? Not really, Lehman Brothers said yesterday.

"A sharp decline in the Chinese stock market is unlikely, in our view, to usher in a major bear market in global equities," the investment bank's head of strategy, Ian Scott, said in response to fears that the Shanghai market is spinning out of control.

'Chinese crash won't trigger bear market'

As for the stock market, it seems to be in one of those happy moods right now where all news is good news. Weaker than expected economic growth is good because it means interest rates will fall. Stronger than expected economic growth is good because, well, lets be honest, it is just good.
