Any legal beavers out there can help answer the ? (LAW)

I have put this question on the other side, but ?

Can anyone answer this question?

If the police take you into custody and hold you for 28days without charging you with for any crime, and then release you, are you entitled to sue them for compensation if your business or career goes bust?

It is after all a form of false detention (state kidnapping) and the consequences of such an event could be financially catastrophic for somebody just starting off in business or is a one man band.

I am not against longer detention periods before charging, but if the prosecutions fail or a person is released I feel they should be entitled to compensation for loss of earnings.

It could happen to any of us. I have seen many at Moneyam meeting who looked suspicious.

Perhaps, if I had a little more information about them. I would lock some of them up.

But imagine the outcry.
