driver - 24 Aug 2007 15:37

Not on these but going good since the Trading Update on the 1/8/2007

Garner Plc

Trading Update

On May 8 2007 the Company made the following announcement:

"The Board, following the results for the year ended 31 December 2006, set some
challenging targets for 2007 and are pleased to inform you that we have
continued to make good progress and to date we are trading in line with
management's expectations".

I am pleased to announce that the first half of this year will show a
continuing improvement in the Company's results for the first half, which are
due be announced on 6 September 2007, and I look forward to presenting full
details at that time.

Robbie Burns aka The Naked Trader bought into these today. He comments on his website as follows " I bought a new high risker today - this one is definitely high risk but could also be high return! It's Garner (GAR) - this one already has had a good run but was impervious to the market downfall. It's very high risk as it's only valued at 3m! That's the smallest company I've ever bought. It also has quite a big spread - but I bought a small amount, 30,000 shares at 8.25p this am and I'm prepared to lose it. The reason I bought is that it looks like a lovely little company that could grow and has potential to double over time. Management looks determined to keep growing it and I hope one day to wake up to some good gains. Some patience required from me."

Robbie Burns. Interesting.. Does he have a good following?

Very much a stock shortage here, hardly any shares in free float. So if the masses start buying in who knows what will happen..

I agree but sadly no spare, having said that it could go the other way.

Robert "Rabbie" Burns 1759 - 1796 I thought he was dead.

Here he is.

Robbie Burns

Robbie Burns has been a journalist and writer since he graduated from Harlow Journalism College in 1981. After starting life as a reporter and editor for various local newspapers, from 1988-1992 he was editor of ITV and Channel 4's teletext services. He then went on to freelance for various newspapers including The Independent and The Sun, and also helped set up a financial news service for CNN. In 1997 he became editor for BSkyB's teletext services and set up their shares and finance service.

He left full-time work in 2001 to trade and run his own businesses. While at BSkyB Robbie broadcast a diary of his share trades which became hugely popular. He transferred the diary to his website, www.nakedtrader.co.uk, which quickly became one of the most read financial website in the UK.

Between 2002 and 2005 he wrote a column for the Sunday Times 'My DIY Pension', featuring share buys and sells made for his pension fund. He managed to double the money in his fund from 40,000 to 80,000 in under three years. He also writes a weekly column for the leading financial website, ADVFN.com.

Robbie has made a tax free profit of over 190,000 from trading shares since 1999, and has made a profit every year, even during the market downturn of 2000-2002.

He lives with his wife, Elizabeth, in Fulham, London, with son Christopher, and cat Domino. His hobbies include chess, running, swimming, horse racing, and trading shares from his bedroom, erm...naked.
