Misery may be just beginning, warns IMF
Meanwhile, Mr Richards, whose RAB Capital funds own 6 per cent of the bank, yesterday repeated his concern that short-sellers might be conducting a campaign to destabilise Northern Rocks share price.
He described how, in the space of a minute, five bank trading desks independently telephoned him to relay the same false rumour about the bank. Youve got to think its being orchestrated when five different trading desks contact you with the same bit of hot news, he said.

TMP could be on the move soon as a result of cashflow from any pending sale of their holdings in RVD, River Diamonds or an increase in the value of what they decide to keep.
RVD currently suspended, awaiting news.

BARGAIN BARGAIN BARGAIN.
TMP own 280 million shares in RVD, and they have just successfully negotiated the 100% purchase of the Emporer gold mine in Fiji and are now a major gold producer.
Placements made at 6p per share with institutions at 33% above current sp. Should come back soon at a considerable profit.

Whilst I've been typing this lot up on both threads TMP shot up 0.5p as I suspected it would. I've missed the boat, but at least I'm in RVD, the biggy of the two.

Well, rising nicely this afternoon. Anomoly in SP in comparison with RVD finally narrowing.... Could be interesting again once RVD comes out of suspension.

Rumour is RVD out 3rd week of Jan, thats next week. Remember TMP only has about 19% of RVD so their share of anything will be considerably diluted by comparrison.

but still needs to catch up on suspended price of RVD .... plus further expected increase after RVD returns to mkt .... plus gold approaching $900 and they have another gold mine interest in Georgia....
PS: didn't TMP previously issue an RNS with the heading 'Templar Minerals raises stake in River Diamonds to 26.18 pct'....

TMP's share price has increased nicely so far this morning...... So anomoly in SP in comparison with RVD less significant now .... but still RVD's return from suspension getting nearer and Gold now > $900.....
