ABERDEEN I & GV ord 10p. 50p Share with a 10.3p divi equals 27.5% yeild. (AIGV)

oilyrag - 31 Oct 2007 15:10

Something completely different to my normal holdings that has captured my intrest.

Aberdeen I & GV, formerly Murray VCT 4 PLC, invest in AIM stocks and FTSE, and pay 2 dividends per annum. This half it is 3.5p per share as long as you hold them by 9th Nov 2007. The overall divi so far this year will then be 10.3p per share. Thats the equivalent of a 27.5% yeild per annum, not bad eh.

AIM portfolio value rose by 13.5% over the half term, and their all share index rose by 0.5% over the same period.

Net asset value based on bid prices is 77.4p per share and the total return on dealings now stands at 102.7p per share.

Disposals came to 2.2 million over the period and total current investments come to 29.9 million. This is equivalent to 85p per share approx. IMHO, DYOR.

I will add more research and facts as I find them.
