Mining Update (CMR)

hangon - 28 Jan 2008 20:02

I thought it would be useful to have a thread dedicated to CMR-mining info and Our Thoughts, rather than earlier threads which started when a Bid was suspected, but which soon fell away.

Jan2008 - new financing in place - with repayment by initial gold from the mine(s)...DYOR please - there are Warants with this finance, but I guess that's the price to pay for significant cash - something that is ( and was always), necessary to get the process moving.
//
Hopefully, once mining starts and the debt is repaid ( when? Late 2009?), there will be company-funds available for further (self-)investment and maybe a dividend for patient CMR investors.
Any other views?

At least the gold payments keep dilution down to a minimum, and therefore give greater investor value in the long run.

900,000 worth of trades so far today are purchases and not sales just below mid price.

Such a frustrating share - good news again in January that sparked the SP but it always just drifts back down!

Now no longer an exploration company. CMR is now a producer.

moneyman - 20 Nov 2008 12:46 - 6 of 16

Price is now starting to pick up quite nicely.

I'm concerned by the release of News and Director-funding (last share-grab at 1p, just 10-days ago, before the Market was told Production had started(9Nov08)...and just two days before it actually started...wouldn't they have known this?
Note that the share-grab included generous Warrants that aren't traded - so you Punters can't buy them. Perhaps the Directors aren't paid....as this could explain why they couldn't find 350,000 a few days after the AGM...as this needed further stock dilution, or was an earlier investor getting greedy...?
All IMHO....Grr.

PS.the 100k-seller is still there...are they M-A-D . . . wait a few weeks and your 200k(sold today), should be worth far more...unless this is a MM's dripping stock into the Market...is that how it works?

ffs cmr, don't produce too much yet, gold set to hit $2,000 an ounce in the next two years, paper money is now worthless.

oilyrag - 21 Nov 2008 08:28 - 9 of 16

Just topped up another 75000, due a tick up soon.

hangon - 27 Nov 2008 12:40 - 10 of 16

Today's 15% fall is "probably" prompted by Money-AM "Shares" Magazine reporting a somewhat thin approach to telling the Markets how it is.
See Mag - but it boils down to this:_ some think CMR is a Sell at least in the current market.

oilyrag - 27 Nov 2008 13:08 - 11 of 16

Those that think CMR is a sell do so because they missed out and want in cheap.

I'm quite happy to sit on mine (no pun intended) for a few years, and reap the benefits when gold prices really take off.

hangon - 15 Dec 2008 16:46 - 12 of 16

12/12/08 Placing - Oh deary, that means more dilution (petty cash) and Warrants available only off-market. I really don't like having to pay 50% more (and no warant!) for stocks like this.
EDIT,15Jan09. Oh deary...the ugly truth dawns - this outfit is spending cash and gold like there's no tomorrow....RobertAlexander is right....I think retail shareholders have not been played straight. DYOR.

robertalexander - 14 Jan 2009 15:38 - 13 of 16

looks like this one is doomed following latest RNS

hangon - 28 Jan 2009 21:41 - 14 of 16

Buy are seven times the Sells, yet the sp is dropping like a stone.... any thoughts?

Frankly, I don't understand how their finacer wants "out" just at the point this is starting to come good. . . . . . OR . . . . is it that there isn't sufficient Gold to confirm the Assay samples? ( IE we were sold a Pup?).

EDIT(3Feb09) I understand the shares are suspended awaiting delisting in all prob. - - - having "lost" their Nomad - AIM-Rules Huh!
ENN (full-list) is as close to dead...etc....what's yr take on these?

ISLAHI - 03 Feb 2009 18:22 - 15 of 16

Does anybody knows the position of CMR and ENN

ISLAHI - 09 Apr 2010 17:43 - 16 of 16
