WIN investing 2 hour free seminar, or 3 day seminar?

courageoussoul - 05 Feb 2008 15:09

Do a Google search Darren Winters or WIN investing seminars and you would find a lot of negative comments on them. There are claims that the background information that Darren has given about himself is misleading, e.g., his first company actually went into administration and also that he did not spend time running errands for top traders as he claimed.

While I dont want to go into Darrens claims about his past, I will base my comments on his seminars.

The free 2 hour seminar is basically a sales pitch for selling the 3 day seminar which cost 3,100. Honestly, what do you expect? In the advert, this guy promises to make you a millionaire. Do you kind he can do that in 2 hours, or do you think he as a very kind heart that he is willing to do it for free? At the free seminar, the presenters take advantage of the 2 most prevalent emotions, fear and greed. They sell you fear using the pensions crisis and (recently recession claims) and they play upon the greedy nature of human beings claiming that you can become extremely rich in a short period of time using the techniques that you will be thought at the 3 day seminar.

While the some of techniques they teach at the 3 day seminar are valid and if used correctly can make you a profitable trader. I think the courses are being mis-advertised, the claims they make are virtually impossible and the courses are overpriced.

By the way, if you sign up for the free seminar dont expect to most of the freebies promised at the end of the seminar. You get a free DVD (you can decide the value, but it is no way near the 200 plus that they claim) and 3 leaflets.

Has anyone got any comments? Does anyone want to share their experience? If you havent heard about the seminars you can do a Google search on it.
