Envesta Telecom -- Share Scam Beware !!!!! Please Read !! (EVS)

nordcaperen - 09 Oct 2008 15:40

Many moons ago, before banks were going bust and the World was in economic meltdown - my share investments were as about good as they are now - Crap ! But thats by-the-by , I was one of the many who were stung with the collapse of Envesta Telecom, (good old Stephen Dean) (now with Griffin PLC - by the way!) Now it emerges from my Boiler Room Scam merchant in New York that my old shares are now worth a whopping 6.20 a share and the company is making a come-back. However, I am told that I must sign a Non-Disclosure form (so you folks out there don't get wind of it ! ) and also send them an obscene amount of money for an indemnity bond, which covers me in the event the deal falters in any way. My good friend at Garrard Associates, 33 West 19th Street, New York ( which incidentally is above a Chinese Laundry if you care to download Google Earth and see for yourself and no where near the finacial district of the Big Apple) also tells me that they will be rushing this deal through and should expect my monies to be in my account for Christmas !!!

Well Mr Simon Adams, and Mr Henry Stalding - (Sorry I dont know your real names) I think you need to get up a bit earlier in the morning if you think I am going to fall for 'that old chestnut'

So all you nice Envesta Shareholders out there, please do not fall for this SCAM. It has been reported to the F.S.A ( who will be getting back to me) - And the Metropolitan Police Fraud Squad - ( who cant really do anything - because its a crime being committed in another Country). but say they will follow up the lead !

If you get a call out of the Blue regarding your Envesta shares - they are NOT worth the paper they are written on, never mind 6.20. I hope this gets through to at least one person and saves them money, and the misery of being Conned.

Remember - If it sounds too good to be true - It usally is !!

And NO, I haven't sent any money or my Bank Details, my National Insurance Number or anything and neither should you !!!

Best Regards

Nordcaperen (please feel free to respond if you have had the same offer)

If there are any more Scams out there like this, let people know - just post it on this thread.
I've never tried to be conned in this manner before and would find it interesting to hear of anymore potential Scams out there

Cheers
Nord.

just had a call from new york asking for my envesta shares cant remember the name the woman gave but while i was in chat mode i looked up envesta on the laptop and read this post, (thanks for this) much help, now i was told my shares were worth £3 to £10 if i give my email or fax number, that was part one, they contact me first and then they said they have collected 41% and have a buyer willing to pay over the odds as i said up to 3 to 10 pounds, they need 51% to take over the company yer right, well i thought i would play along for a while and gave details of me, no1 con i do not boundry street 999 contact just making it up as i go along, at this point the phone went dead, dont know why, just thought i would share this with any one out there that get the same calls good luck, be safe.
