Credit-rating Agencies (for Financial Institutions)
Since we learn that this is a strange industry without Regulation, where the seller pays the Agent . . . isn't their whole purpose somewhat suspicious . . . rather like so-called "Trade Associations" that appear to give itinerant tradesman credentials, but in reality mean nothing more than they have paid (last year) for the Logo to be painted on their van.
Shouldn't we have a new FSA to oversee the old-one?. . . . . with a fresh choice of employees....since the current one has been shown ineffective, other than when they cause worry to indicviduals writing odd messag e s . o n . . .

Which begs the question what are any professional qualifications worth? How many auditors have been fined for signing off spurious accounts?
