In the US last night, the Dow was down 30 points at 9,712, the Nasdaq fell 2
points at 2,122 and the S&P500 dropped 4 points at 1,057.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was down 153.34 points at 9,979.89, while the Hong
Kong and China markets are closed today for a public holiday.

Crude oil traded at $70.05 on Nymex.
