I was trading shares 10 years or so ago and with Charles shwabb and credit was available as well as extended settlement and closing deals.
This was then stopped or reduced by most brokers.

I buy a few shares now but generally to hold.
I notice though a lot of short term traders who appear to trade on credit and requiring a close within the settlement period.

Who are providing these services and are they generally available.?
