This is Money

The latest growth forecasts from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and a prediction from a leading UK economist, suggested that official figures for gross domestic product (GDP) will show an acceleration in the pace of recovery when they are published on 23 April - two weeks before the general election.
Economy set to speed up and beat UK's rivals, says OECD

Greece's debt crisis has reached a critical juncture after spreads on the country's bonds surged to the highest since the launch of the euro and the government released 17bn in special funds to shore up Greek banks.

Only in America could the man responsible for interest rates and banking regulation at the time, Alan Greenspan, incredulously insist, as he has again in testimony to the Financial Crisis Commission, that he had very little to do with it.
Fed boss Greenspan says no one saw the crisis coming. Really?

This is an interesting - although long - article from Vanity Fair this month:

Michael Burry always saw the world differently - due, he believed, to the childhood loss of one eye. So when the 32-year-old investor spotted the huge bubble in the subprime-mortgage bond market, in 2004, then created a way to bet against it, he wasnt surprised that no one understood what he was doing. In an excerpt from his new book, The Big Short, the author charts Burrys oddball maneuvers, his almost comical dealings with Goldman Sachs and other banks as the market collapsed, and the true reason for his visionary obsession.
