hilary - 11 Nov 2010 09:58 - 2 of 27

Do we have to guess the venue? London's a large place.

:o)

skinny - 11 Nov 2010 09:59 - 3 of 27

Its here :-)

On edit - Hils - beat me to it!

Bullshare - 11 Nov 2010 10:02 - 4 of 27

updated for hilary :-0

Gausie - 11 Nov 2010 10:03 - 5 of 27

I think it's at QE2 - which is appropriate.

Bullshare - 11 Nov 2010 10:03 - 6 of 27

And Hilary im there on saturday morning so I should avoid going then :-0)

hilary - 11 Nov 2010 10:10 - 7 of 27

Have I been there before?

Bullshare - 11 Nov 2010 10:46 - 8 of 27

Errrr, probably not, probably classes with your sunbed and nail varnish sessions!

MightyMicro - 11 Nov 2010 12:13 - 9 of 27

. . . or leg waxing.

hilary - 11 Nov 2010 13:03 - 10 of 27

Was it on the QE2 that I had a chat with you over a salmon and cucumber sarnie, DelBoy? Just after a bald headed old geezer had been ramping some dog stock called Bioprogress if my memory serves me right.

:o)

MightyMicro - 11 Nov 2010 18:43 - 11 of 27

Er, I think it was at the RHS halls one snowy day, Hil. You were sailing under false colours or otherwise presenting yourself incognito. 29 January 2004, if memory (and my equipment) serves. That would have been some time before I smuggled your ski boots back from California.

hilary - 12 Nov 2010 08:53 - 12 of 27

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, DelBoy. At least I remembered it was in London.

2004, you say. Blimey. Do you remember what I was wearing?

:o)

MightyMicro - 12 Nov 2010 09:38 - 13 of 27

Well, I remember the legs, so it must've been a skirt :-)

Bullshare - 15 Nov 2010 10:24 - 14 of 27

Ramping, what me ;-)

StonyB - 15 Nov 2010 12:36 - 15 of 27

"2004, you say. Blimey. Do you remember what I was wearing?"

There was someone sitting behind me wearing something in light (yellowy?) brown - possibly suede - unless that was the long boots - that I always suspected was Hilary. She definitely had legs.

PS: Unless she was the woman in the Bet Lynch fake fur number. :0)

hilary - 15 Nov 2010 13:15 - 16 of 27

If it was fur, StonyB, it most definitely wouldn't have been fake. Political correctness doesn't particularly feature in my vocabulary, in case you hadn't noticed.

:o).

You may be close with the long boots though.

StonyB - 15 Nov 2010 13:25 - 17 of 27

Hee hee.

The person I was thinking of was sitting on the far right side about a third of the way from the front, if that's any guide. ;0)

MightyMicro - 15 Nov 2010 14:49 - 18 of 27

Hil, I reckon StonyB clocked you, if my recollection of the event serves. You do leave an impression, it seems.

Bullshare - 15 Nov 2010 15:31 - 19 of 27

StonyB. Her old man was there too, he was the geezer in the Chelsea shirt staring you down :-0

StonyB - 15 Nov 2010 17:24 - 20 of 27

Bullshare - ah, that explains the missing five minutes when I came 'round to find I had a black eye!!!

Actually, I don't recall her being with anyone. The strange thing is ... I don't think I'd ever met Hilary before or since but I remember seeing someone and thinking 'ah ha ... you must be Hils." Explain that. (if I was right, that is)

On reflection, perhaps it was the casual way she cast 20 notes into the air as she floated through the venue.

MightyMicro - 16 Nov 2010 10:14 - 21 of 27

Short cable again, was she?
