In the US last night, the Dow dipped 3 points at 11,359, the Nasdaq rose 4 points at 2,598
and the S&P500 was flat at 1,224.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was last up 85 points at 10,226, while the Hang Seng ended the
morning off 206 points at 23,222.

Crude oil traded at $87.81 a barrel on Nymex.

Gold settled at $1,391 an ounce.
