In the US Friday, the Dow rose 55 points at 12,639, the Nasdaq added 13 points at 2,828
and the S&P500 gained 5 points at 1,340.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 58 points at 9,802, while the Hang Seng ended
the morning up 214 points at 23,373.

WTI crude oil traded at $98.75 a barrel and gold settled at $1,503 an ounce.
