I think I might know the answer to this question, but what is the cheapest you can deal shares online (standard dealing, not active trader type deals for more than a certain number of trades per month).

I think I might be correct in saying it's x-o.co.uk (think it's backed by Jarvis) at 5.95 per trade.

Though I'm happy to be proved wrong...

And I'm not talking about the 1.50 deal some brokers offer when you invest a monthly amount...

Have just found that JPJ offer dealing for 5.75, under-cutting x-o by 20p per deal.

Looks like JPJ Share might be the cheapest online share dealing service (standard account, not frequent trader):
