Traders Thread - Wednesday 19th October (TRAD)

Good morning traders!

In the US last night, the Dow rose 180 points at 11,577, the Nasdaq added 43 points
at 2,657 and the S&P500 gained 25 points at 1,225.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently up 17 points at 8,758, while the Hang Seng
ended the morning ahead 226 points at 18,302.

WTI crude oil traded at $88.24 a barrel and gold settled at $1,660 an ounce.
