Good morning traders!
In yesterday's shortened pre-holiday session in the US, the Dow rose 72 points at
12,944, the Nasdaq added 25 points at 2,976 and the S&P500 gained 9 points at
1,374. US markets will remain closed today for the Independence Day celebrations.
In Asia this morning, the Nikkei was recently up 30 points at 9,096, while the Hang Seng
ended the morning ahead 35 points at 19,771.
WTI crude oil traded at $87.36 a barrel and Brent crude at $100.68.
Gold settled at $1,616 an ounce.
