In the US last night, the Dow fell 89 points at 12,878, the Nasdaq lost 9 points at 2,968
and the S&P500 shed 7 poimts at 1,399.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 97 points at 9,326, while the Hang Seng lost
186 points at 21,658.

WTI crude oil traded at $87.20 a barrel and Brent crude at $109.80.

Gold settled at $1,739 an ounce.
