In the US last night, the Dow fell 43 points at 13,944, the Nasdaq lost 3 points at 3,165
and the S&P500 shed 3 points at 1,509.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 177 points at 11,180 and the Hang Seng added
50 points at 23,227.

WTI crude oil traded at $95.93 a barrel and Brent crude at $117.24.

Gold settled at $1,672 an ounce.
