In the US last night, the Dow rose 48 points at 14,019, the Nasdaq fell 6 points at 3,186
and the S&P500 added 2 points at 1,519.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 148 points at 11,221. Markets in Hong Kong
and China remain closed for the Lunar New Year holiday.

WTI crude oil traded at $97.57 a barrel and Brent crude at $118.66.

Gold settled at $1,652 an ounce.
