interested to hear views on the impact of a small % of shares available for trading in a company.

I'm holding a share which has 68% held by funds and company directors. I suspect there is additional number held by long term holders, so the free float is small.

The split is 62.5% Funds & 7.5% company directors. The biggest fund has been adding more in recent days which has got me thinking.

This sounds good if something prompts buying but what's the down side?
