Russ Mould, Shares Editor

Russ has 22 years’ experience of the capital markets. He joined Scottish Equitable in 1991 as a portfolio manager before joining SG Warburg (now UBS investment bank) in 1993, where he worked as an equity analyst covering the technology sector. Russ was voted best analyst in the semiconductor sector in 2001 by Institutional Investor, was top three ranked on other occasions and took the role of lead analyst on several Initial Public Offerings. He reached the level of Managing Director in 2003 and became head of UBS’ global semiconductor research effort. Russ joined Shares in 2005 as technology correspondent and was appointed Editor in July 2008.

Michael Hewson, CMC Markets Senior Market Analyst

Michael is Senior Market Analyst at CMC Markets, based in London. He holds over 20 years’ worth of experience of trading the markets, and specialises in technical analysis. Respected for his candid and direct commentary on what is going on in the markets, Michael is a regular face on both financial and mainstream TV; appearing regularly on Bloomberg, CNBC, BBC, CNN, Fox Business, and several outlets throughout the UK, North America and the Middle East.

Michael’s background is in foreign exchange trading. Before joining CMC Markets, he spent over twelve years working with market data, delivering education and support functions to diverse audiences - from experienced traders and private investors, to corporate and retail clients.

Michael has delivered seminars on the subject of trading and technical analysis at the World Money Show, London Business School, London Stock Exchange and a number of business schools throughout the country. He holds an MSTA from the UK Society of Technical Analysts (STA) and also a CFTe from the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA). Michael is also the winner of the 2013 Dow Jones FX Frenzy Global Championship which included traders and strategists from across the Americas, Asia and Europe.
Craig Inglis, CMC Markets Co-Head of Product Development

Craig is one of CMC Markets leading trading development specialists. Having worked for various stockbrokers and trading houses in an advisory capacity over the years he now runs courses on how to successfully trade the financial markets. Craig has been an active trader for a number of years and his seminars aim to cut through the jargon and over-complicated approach of some forms of market analysis.
