In the US last night, the Dow rose 39 points to 18,136 the Nasdaq rose 16 points to 4,983 and the S&P 500 rose 2 points at 2,101.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently up 219.16 points at 18,971.00 and the Hang Seng down 27.40 points at 24,165.64.

WTI crude oil traded at $50.76 a barrel and Brent at $60.48.

Gold settled at $1,195.90 an ounce.

But I took it as -12.9% as down on previous month.
