Morning!
In the US last night, the Dow lost 212 points to 17,403 the Nasdaq lost 65 points to 5,037 and the S&P 500 lost 20 points at 2,084.
In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently down 340.70 points at 20,380.05 and the Hang Seng down 482.07 points at 24,016.14.
WTI crude oil traded at $43.08 a barrel and Brent at $49.18.
Gold settled at $1107.60 an ounce.

Really interesting chart Skinny. I think you are far better at charts than me but I see it being driven into the wedge with the wedge having a 200pt range as of today which needs to narrow before it will break one way or the other.
I want it to break up but I don't like the way the 50MA has crossed the 200MA
Overall I think FTSE keeps getting driven down by worrying macroeconomic news, which I don't think will necessarily follow into poor company results.
Not sure of the timeframe but I see FTSE breaking up when it's ready. My opinion is not so much based on the chart but more based on company fundamentals

I've had better days but it can go up as fast as it can go down.
I would say it's oversold down here. The month of August is historically a bad one.
