Morning!


In the US on Friday, the Dow ended up 69 points to 17,477 the Nasdaq rose 14 points to 5,048 and the S&P 500 rose 9 points at 2,092.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently up 40.98 points at 20,558.76 and the Hang Seng down 235.58 points at 23,755.48.

WTI crude oil traded at $42.50 a barrel and Brent at $49.03.

Gold settled at $1,112.90 an ounce.

Seriously though I'm struggling to see it going anywhere until oil has a relief rally. Someday soon oil has to break out of the downtrend channel for no other reason than it can't fall at this speed forever.

Rightmove said as its House Price Index showed UK house prices fell 0.8% in August. The £2258 fall on the month took the average UK asking price to £292,284.
