In the US last night, the Dow finished up 369 points to 16,655 the Nasdaq rose 115 points to 4,813 and the S&P 500 rose 47 points at 1,988.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently up 470.09 points at 19,044.53 and the Hang Seng up 123.71 points at 21,962.25.

WTI crude oil traded at $42.56 a barrel and Brent at $47.56.

Gold settled at $1,122.40 an ounce.

It was around 2002, Jimmy, I think. I received an email from Ian (I thnink)
out of the blue (don't know where they got my email address from)
inviting me to register and at the time, I thought it was superb. In fact,
until the takeover, it was still in very good shape. This thread, under Greystone,
and now under Skinny, is in my view, one of the bits here which has kept improving all the time.
One of the best threads on MAM.
