Can anyone recommend a self select ISA trading platform for someone who deals often and needs speed and ease of use (not for me). Apparently they used to get 15 secs to take or leave the trade but their current platform is 'bouncing back' their trades and is causing them problems. I've said it could be their internet speed. Cheers

I've used the Hargreaves Lansdown Vantage platform for years and find it largely ok.

Have a look here - How to choose the best (and cheapest) DIY investing Isa - and our pick of the platforms

I have used Barclays Stockbrokers for about 7/8 years now and that's after trying most of the others and finding them all have something I don't like.

Having said that I did not try HLA, depends on one's personal choice in the end.

As I say for speed, ease use and cost I find the Barclays trading platform second to none.

At present I mostly use iDealing.com

For live Level 2 data I have been subscribing to an Advfn premium package for many years (under the username M.T.Glass), but have just terminated that and am considering subscribing to MoneyAM's equivalent, which is cheaper.
