In the US on Friday, the Dow finished down 665.75 at 25,520.96 the Nasdaq down 144.92 at 7,240.95 and the S&P 500 down 59.85 at 2,762.13.

In Asia, the Nikkei was recently down 592.45 points at 22,682.08 - the Hang Seng down 364.89 at 32,236.89 - crude oil traded at $65.45 a barrel and Brent at $68.58.

Gold settled at $1,333.70 an ounce.

Trade well and prosper.

FTSE 100 - a buy or a falling knife?

I've voted for up from here.

I think 450 pts fall in a couple of weeks is enough. Dow another matter though. It could do anything and probably will.

I have a FTSE long from 7362.

Added some more at 7259.

Fall on Dow accelerating. I'm sure stops being taken out continually.

Bitcoin going the same way.

So, let's find out just how much FTSE has decoupled from Dow.

Cable not moving much at all

and more at 7192 gulp

I do not believe FTSE will open this far down. Oil hasn't fallen much. Cable is steady.

So, RDSB, BP. won't drag this down this much.

This is vicious. Dow just bounced 500 pts in a few minutes

Dow low prints at 23,707. Not often you see a 700pt 15 minute candle.

Edit: rofl. I'm looking at 5 minute candles not 15 minute. This is crazy just like 2008

And 7039. Average 7196. Let it run now.

Might add once more sub 7000

This was always on the cards and has been for some while.

55 DMA is around 22300 for Dow.

Got stopped out last night in seconds going long just after 8pm last night. Missed turn by a couple of minutes.
