hope springs----

snappy - 03 Jun 2003 08:51 - 6 of 15

no hope springs!

unloved and unprofitable

technically bust

Sequestor - 03 Jun 2003 09:13 - 7 of 15

bust, but dangerous, someone has to de-commission the A plants if it does go down, so it won`t go yet.

snappy - 03 Jun 2003 09:23 - 8 of 15

no it won't go otherwise we'll have no electricity, mind you nothing is impossible in this day and age!

Sequestor - 03 Jun 2003 09:26 - 9 of 15

there is a village in Wales getting `lecky for the first time today- that should boost sales, use a lot of it there you know, shearing sheep, boiling leeks, or is it the other way round?

snappy - 03 Jun 2003 09:28 - 10 of 15

not a lot of liquidity on the order book

Sequestor - 03 Jun 2003 09:39 - 11 of 15

your`e on the wrong thread for liquid shares!!!!

snappy - 04 Jun 2003 10:50 - 12 of 15

this thing has had it (4p mid)

would the last one out please switch off all the generators and lock the gates......

Sequestor - 04 Jun 2003 10:54 - 13 of 15

Give it a while snap,
they have to get the water super-heated to run the turbines, all takes time.

snappy - 04 Jun 2003 11:05 - 14 of 15

The future looks grim for this company as a quoted one. I can easily see HMG having to take it back into state ownership to keep the country supplied with power.

Even with a D4E swap if their costs are above the resale value of the power it is difficult to see it surviving as a going concern without state support.

Avoid.....

Sequestor - 04 Jun 2003 11:22 - 15 of 15

too late to avoid, dump might be on the cards soon tho`
lol
