Fascinating reading your tips and comments , but what can a novice do if the jargon leaves so many ---- (blanks)
what is: a thread, mam, bear market - and that's just for starters!

Thread - this is bb speak for a converrsation on the bulletin board - this is a thread here.

MAM - this is an abbreviation for MoneyAM that many people use here.

A bear Market is a market that is down/poor a bull market is a market that is on the rise.
