I've organised a venue for Wednesday 27th August - The Windmill Inn, Four Marks, Nr Alton. We have the conservatory, which is attached to the resturant next to the pub, reserved for our use. For those who want food, (good choices, and reasonable prices) be there between 7-7.30pm, and anyone who just want a drink, anytime after that! Everyone will be welcome.

It's 20 min south of Guildford and 20 min north of Winchester on the A31.

From Guildford, follow the A31 until you start to pass through Four Marks. (after Alton) look for the Windmill Inn on the right - huge place & car park. (If you reach the shops on the left, you've just passed it!)

From Winchester, follow the A31 pass Ropley to Four Marks. Go through Four Marks to the top of the hill, immediately after the shops on right, is the Windmill Inn on the left.

It'll be great to see you all there.

Sometimes I go to Guildford (Weds) for Ceroc, so
Guildford would be fine - one evening during the Week,please.
I'm mostly into technology,(since late 90's)- with just a bit of balance like LLOY. How about you?

Sat. 30Aug03, I'm in Guildfod at a show - of zero interest to you, and Sunday in Kent - so that's two dates missing - I'd prefer mid-week on balance. Of course it can be people you know - not just posters here.

I`ve been to Guildford a
couple of times, but mostly I like to stay alive!

Hangon, it looks like mid week evening is favourite, with everyone from the traders room. Looks like a pretty broad group of people, knowledge & interests wise so should help keep things interesting!

If we all able to meet at the same location, then we would have a good number of people (about 15 so far)!

The other possibility is to meet once a month at different locations. I'd like to try and organise a "get to know you" initial meeting on Thurday evening 28th August. Could do two times, an earlier one for those who want to relax & eat first, and a slightly later time for those who just want to join in later and not eat.

So really the location will depend on who can make that evening!

Unfortunately I shall be on holiday next week but I would support the idea of a regular monthly or 2 monthly meet in the south. (live Herts/Cambs area)

Little woman; Well done in getting this up and running. I will come along and buy a round and will do a short talk on level 2 etc if you want. Limpy might also be able to come along and do a short talk on charting,

Are people that shy from the investors room - or just don't live in the south?

Everyone new to investing should consider coming - you can really contribute, especially in deciding future agendas.

I may have been investing for over 20 years, but I have huge holes in my knowledge. The number of times, someone talks about something which I thought I knew about, only to realised I never really understood it - because it now for the first time makes sense!
