What's going on (EIT)

mojo47 - 26 Aug 2003 20:30

Anyone know what has made EIT gain 80% over the last few days. Is not that a lot of shares have been bought. I have looked for any news but so far came up with zilch. They have gone from 8p to 15p ish in the last few days
Thanks mary

I invested in EIT for a while and watched them soar to 40p on rumour of a contract which was never theirs in the first place. Of course they fell back extremely quickly.

Ride the trend on these and then sell as soon as they start to waver. If you're thinking of investing for the longer term - I reckon their competition is very strong and they'll be struggling to make significant headway into the Telematics market. The management will bury their heads in the sand when the garden's not too rosy - newsflow has been minimal.

Apart from that if you're up for a gamble, there are worse companies around.

There's not much interest in YGP at the moment, TFC are looking solid though are rapidily moving back out of the penny share category.

TOA could be worth some more research, but the one classic penny share telematics co. you've missed is CYH (Cybit Holdings).

It's worth registering for the free subscription on a variety of bulletin boards to get the maximum info. www.advfn.com is normally the most active, but attracts a lot of fools, rampers and derampers - so be sure to reasearch anything you read there.

Cheers

OG

ps I've posted against a few companies on this board recently (I only discovered the board a couple of days ago!). These are all penny shares and any one of them could be a 10 bagger - you'll need to be patient with them though.
