cfd trades

WATERSIDE - 10 Sep 2003 22:57

did my first today and made a clear 200.0 profit by closing all positions taken in the day

missed out on RSA AS CLOSED JUST 30 MINUTES TOO early.

Had I not had a grand child visit I would have closed off the position toward the actual trading day-- the loss for the visit-- 650.00

so net profit would have been 850.00--not bad on a first day [hopefully not beginers luck!![]

MAIN winner was reuters sold 20000 at 2.33 and bought back 20000 at 2.30-- thsi has got some way to go-- i see this one drifting back to around 1.75-- present price unsustainable!

but RSA WOULD HAVE MATCHED IT

i am in early tomorrow selling another 20000 RSA AT 1.14 as I se this into free fall to around 90p-- rights issue is going to flop and teh company are in trouble

AVIVA is worth a sell now as well following their call for cash-- see them into freefall to around 4.00 form slightly over 5.00

going to watch over next couple of days but a sell at 5.00 or thereabouts is going to give some healthy cash!!

well done waterside...Hope to join u soon ...I did a number of fantasy ones last few weeks and seem to be doing okay out of it...it Will be good to discuss a few more of these as opposed to buying buying all the time..

RSA saw that one happening as well as Colt, Reuters and logica...

Excellent stuff, makes me smile when I hear someone doing well out of it...!

Mega Bucks - 11 Sep 2003 01:57 - 3 of 4

i would have thought trading that size of contracts when starting out was rather dangerous, good luck to you...

NAG,DYOR, etc etc this is only my opinion :-)
