Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Been holding these for a while now. What a great week and more MM buys today. This stock has been heavily bought the past month and is only just starting to be recognised as a potential multi-bagger. Results are due in November and these could still rise further in the short term.

And another

Little woman, results due in November, do you feel they will break into profit this time around????????. I like the story on this one but theres a lot of competition out there and would be persuaded to buy if I thought a profit was about to be announced. Your reply or indeed any one with knowledge on this company would be much appreciated.

I've no idea if they will produce a profit for the interim, but think it's more likely for the next 6 months or next year. They origonally had a 12 month deal with LEX and when that ran out, it got renewed for 3 years. They are growing, but it takes time.

I forgot to say - I hadn't even heard of this company until yesterday. But had a really detailed look at the web site, current & previous years accounts - read all the boring things looking for details (which are there is look hard enough), and asked all the people I knew who had company vehicles (who it's targeted at) what they knew. And then came to my conclusions.

I purchased some this morning, and already (after all costs) am over 10% up. I'm normally happy for a quick profit, but even though the bid price keeps going down - the offer price is not, and if anything is up! Which makes me want to hold them a bit longer to see how it pans out. (If the offer was not holding, I would sell, let them drop back down and then buy back in!)

Many Thanks for that little woman im going to do some research on this one now.
cheers, much appreciated.

When the results date is announced they will fly up again!!!!!!!!

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 10:47 - 9 of 3104

Ever the optomist - Have you not noticed how many shares drop on good news, and go up on bad!

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 11:04 - 10 of 3104

Interesting day for this share!

When results days are announced shares normally jump up and yes I know there is usually profit taking by the time the results day arrives.

The thing is with this company is that it is winning contracts all the time. Look back over all the RNS. I only wish I'd got in earlier, I was told about them a couple of weeks ago but didn't do anything about it until Friday.

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 11:21 - 12 of 3104

I've not being paying enough attention to my research! Suddenly realised I didn't know how many shares in circulation, as the MM deal volumes are quite low.

What is interesting are the warrants etc.

laurencecope - 03 Nov 2003 11:32 - 13 of 3104

You could have a look at Billam (BLLM ) they own 16% of cybit shares which on friday was worth more than Billam

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 11:42 - 14 of 3104

Looking at BLLM at the moment - shame about the spread!

They do look interesting

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 13:56 - 15 of 3104

Finaly bid price broke the 4.3 - didn't stay long but overall the price is really pulling up.

Strong Institutional interest.

Tech - 03 Nov 2003 18:00 - 17 of 3104

Institutions have only just started buying these recently. Approaching mkt cap when they will be forced to buy in large quantities for their funds. These will then move to double digits. All still dependant on good results and newsflow which most of us are expecting. Good luck to all long holders. Lets hope for some write ups in the papers tomorrow.

ajren - 03 Nov 2003 18:03 - 18 of 3104

Do you not think double digits is over optimistic ?

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 18:07 - 19 of 3104

Not if they go into profit - but the big question is when?

ajren - 03 Nov 2003 18:11 - 20 of 3104

Perhaps you are correct.
I would be surprised if they go over 8p

planttec - 04 Nov 2003 08:27 - 21 of 3104

tree shaking or problems?
any ideas guys?
