Greetings!
this is my first ever posting on such boards and was only prompted to do so, since you asked the question above.
yes ......... iv,e been holding a good dollop of this stock since early september. it has been up .... and come back down, quite regularly.
i,m a trader and i think its a good trading stock. I could not resist the chance to off load my holding today, after such a good rise.
Let,s see if i will get the chance to get back in at a lower level.
Other winners {for me) over the last few months, that have also been good for trading are Aegis,Skypharma,London Clubs,Countrywide Assured Securicor and McAlpine.
Remember, you have to pick stocks that suit your own investment/trading style.

CKSN seemed recovering so well. and the trend of this company goign up and down so frequency,. but recently they rise more than drop. and the report of today is also a good start. I believe in the short or medium term it will rise more and I am looking forward in it. In IC they recommend to buy (last issues) plus lots of buyer today. so optimistic

Are these still a recovery buy ? I have held some long term and I am thinking of adding haven't seen much blue so far!

Greetings to all CKSN holders.

I have been trading regularly in/out of this stock over the last 10 months.

Touch wood .... with success to date.

I am holding a shed load at the moment .... and looking for a substantial
rise in the share price.... when we get an update ... which is due any day soon.

Good luck to all.

Regards

Amar

Anybody interested in cookson / this thread.

Amazing volume today.

Is something afoot?

Charts look promising to me.

Cheers

I hold CKSN but they've not really brought any rewards yet, up and down. A revovery looks certain to the mid forties. Haven't heard any news but its sure due something substantial!

Fingers crossed--I'm still in! Any news welcome.

Can't see this going much higher, despite Deutsche bank's upgrade to hold inJanuary. The market seems very nervous of this firm, which fell out of favour in 2002,and which, with it's large debt and string of write downs and varied businesses does'nt give a clear enough signal to investors.Fidelity disposed of a big chunk of shares despite the upgrade.37p is the november 2004 high. Can't see 49p so soon.March 9 results.Makes me nervous, fell to 33p this month.Wish the share price moves were more positive or someone would buy the "jewellery"division. Is this an electrical co. or what?Do they recycle bits of leftover metal from the core businesses and make them into necklaces and bracelets?Good luck!!!

amardev - 07 Feb 2005 18:26 - 12 of 13

Greetings to all holders.
Thanks for your company and comments.

My interpretation of the charts .....
if it can hold above long term average .... bodes well.

It would be nice to be vindicated.

Good luck to all

Cheers
Amar

Volumes are definitely UP on the year.Maybe, they are going to sell the jewellery division?????
