New feature - "weekly churn" (CHRN)

Felix(MoneyAM) - 26 Nov 2003 10:21

I've created a new page that calculates the "weekly churn" for each FTSE350 stock.

The weekly churn is the number of shares traded in the last week (calculated
as a sum of daily volumes) expressed as a percentage of the total share issue.
This is then listed in descending order (most heavily churned stocks at the top).

The results are displayed in CSV format (comma separated values) so it's Excel
compatible, and I've added a link so you can download the results straight
into Excel.

If there are other similar "per-stock" type queries for which such a listing
would be useful, they would probably not be hard to add - so do please let me
know if you have any requests. e.g. I could do a listing of the FTSE100 in
descending order of capitalization, if anybody wants it.
