Shoprite group up from 9p to 18p quickly in Sept, down to 12p now in December. Retail Sector didn't have too poor a Xmas although they suggest they have had. Plenty of competition around with loads of spare capital. Sainsburys, Morrisons Asda, Safeway busy bidding for each other. Perhaps this little fish may start to expand its niche in its base in the Channel Isles. Share price now 12p to 13p can it be worth a small investment particularly now its got its accounts into profit.

Shoprite operates in the Isle of Man, not the Channel Islands. Check your map :-)

Up 1/2p 3.8% is something in the offing - maybe now that Morrisons has got safe way - Someone maybe after Shoprite. Is it Sainsbury Tesco's or Asda or will they go it alone. DYOR
