Share Mag 24.7.04 Tim Freeborn classfied Virotec 'Blue Sky'. His article stated Vitotec is starting to make serious progress on the sales front. Orders have been won in Australia, US, Korea and in several European countries. Sales have been lumpy, but funds look enough to last for over a year. This year, sales should start to move from the pilot stage to full marketing. The shares are a high risk punt, especially given the financial weakness, but the eventual upside is enormous.
Daily Mail 'Investment Extra' column 30 August 2003 wrote a Nigel Wray and a partner involved in a company called Prestbury took up shares in a recent placing emerging with 8%. If Virotec can clean up poluted sites, Prestbury can develop them. The Company is chasing orders of 100,000 to 250,000.
The Times 14.11.03 wrote that Chairman, Brian Sheeran was in the UK indicating that his visit could lead to a clutch of long-awaited deals with UK water utilities. Dealers also suggested that the flow of sellers of Virotec's Sydney stock had finally dried up.
Virotec issued a trading statement 28 November 2003 saying they were in a strong financial postition and remains committed to internationalising the business. In an AGM statement it said it anticipates the majority of the growth in revenue from the group's technologies in 2004 will be generated in the Northern Hemisphere.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
