Can anybody recommend a publication or website where shares/information/tips are highlighted for the USA markets, just like Plays of the Week in the Shares Magazine for the UK?

Fortune Europe Edition 3.00, Very good Magazine, always highlights some stocks in the US Markets.

Another one is MONEY WEEK.

There are few more knocking around but will list them when they come to mine.

Try www.Smartmoney.com, the website for Smartmoney magazine, www.investors.com, the website for Investor's Business Daily (William J. O'Neil, author of CANSLIM approach to investing) and www.barrons.com. Smartmoney is a monthly magazine and is around $30, per annum. The other two are daily but are available in online editions. For detailed information, the latter two are phenomenal and probably the best around. Barrons is available online for $6.95, per month, which is a bargain. IBD is somewhat more expensive at $235, per annum. Both, however, offer two to four weeks free access so that you can make sure that it's what you're looking for.
