This share looks set to take off in the coming weeks. 2.1M in the bank and a committment to investing in property potfolio's in the emerging EEC countries. The price is only 7p which on my calculations of cash in bank sounds really cheap. Get in soon at these levels. IMHO

The property market everywhere is extremely complex and is constantly subject to
a huge amount of everchanging variables e.g interest rates being merely one.
I suggest investors stay in U.K.

The main issues here is European investment in emerging economies. Look at the Highlands, enjoyed Objective 1 status for many years and now Inverness (no longer a town) but the fastest growing city in the UK. The commercial opportunites are immense. The UK cycle is at it's peak and there remains little upside. IMHO

There will always be niche areas of the Property market in the U.K.so why swim
in unknown waters ?

It's not so much property investment as commercial assets. We are talking shopping malls, office blocks, industrial units. I have worked with ERDF funding streams and we are talking serious stimulus. The question is can Abraxus's management exploit the opportunities afforded by European enlargement?
They are debt free (2.1m to invest) and they have some decent financial backers. It's a risky play only in the sense that we are still awaiting news of their first investment hence the low share price.
I wouldn't get drawn into comparison with UK, I have exposure to the UK commercial market, ROK & WGTand I accept your outlook. I'm merely flagging up an alternative that I am confident will move significantly higher over the short term.

Hi Prophet,
Much of what you say is valid. However, the people in the enlarged E.U.will have
no money to spend in such places as wages are - in most cases - barely sufficient to live at a very basic level. Also, one has to take into consideration
Political and Police corruption,Mafia Protection money, etc.
I still say why swim in muddied waters in the hope they will turn blue ?

Hi ajren
Haven't researched it yet but having followed the rise of property here and see it coming to a stop sometime?, like the idea of investing somewhere right at the start.

I think they will attract extra finance fro others and when the investments are made we should see forecasts of what revenue and growth we can then expect. I'm still working on the basis that news has to be fortcoming soon. The company said at the end of 2003 that they were confident they would be bringing positive proposals to shareholders in the near future. March?

I think people should focus on the stable established E.U.countries e.g.
I live in Spain and there are vast tracts of inland Spain waiting for
opportunistic property people.

At last we have some action! Meaningful sized property purchase in Eastern Europe with development potential to add value. Further good commitment by director and austrian bank major sharehoders in further equity investment. Lets hope it translates into share price!
