Thought I'd start a thread on this as one didn't seem to exist. From what I can see there's only just over 81m shares currently at .4p so market cap of circa 320,000. Results seem to be improving although Chairman cautious which is refreshing from usual bullish statements.
If results continue to improve with this share capital it could be one to rise quickly... but then again..
Any thoughts

Up 20% today - I wish I'd bought more now!

I've held this engineering share (Beauford) for some while so this massive rise isn't much overall, for me. I rarely hear about them in the Media and so I know next to nothiing - when bought they held the rights to Wade ceramikins if memory serves me well. What are they doing now?
Engineering is a sector that seems to hold little, for investors, and with inept management it's hardly surprising.
I also hold Beaufort: easy to get them muddled, as they are a right pair if ever one was needed.
Didn't see any RNS to explain the 25% rise today (Monday)

No great science or research to my getting involved. I had watched for a while and feel much happier with Beauford (BFRD) than Beaufort. I bought in because there isn't a huge amount of stock and I had read that quite a bit of it was held by directors or people with a vested interest in the company which is always re-assuring.
The results seemed to be improving and I believe more are due out shortly. Also I had difficulty buying which again is usually an encouraging sign.
As you say it's been a difficult time for this sector but things seem to be improving and from what I can see the chairman/ board seem to be realistic and fairly informative. There was talk a while ago of providing a return for shareholders - I am hoping this might be the start of it if not then it doesn't take much buying to move the stock as volume hasn't been high but mainly buys so perhaps MM's are short. I wait with interest for the next few days to see if there's an RNS.

I thought they were a bit daft selling their only valuable brand - but then that's what has to happen if you get everything wrong.
Sorry I just think they don't know much....and of course as an investor I knwow even less; except I know when a business is being run-down and that's what we have here.
What exactly are they doing?
I still get the Annual accounts but for the life of me I cannot think of one thing contained therein.
