I sold a small amount of shares today which i have held in certificate form since august 2003, on my certificate they are held, ORD of 0.2p each, my broker said they were of 0.02p each and this seems to be the case if you research them, as far as i know there has been no share consolidation....
What does this mean? any advice from anyone please.........?

It is perfectly possible for you and your broker to be using the same "research" source (or sources derived from the same source) which has the nominal value incorrectly specified. Alternatively, there could have been a scrip issue (not a consolidation). Ring the registrars to confirm the current nominal value and whether there have been any capital issues. Their name will be on the certificate.
