I have seen a disastrous drop in this share value since the Chairman was convicted of fraud! The company state this matter is not related to the company, it is Hong Kong based and China is supposed to be booming, the company trades profitably but still the price falls off a cliff! Does anyone know when the results are due out or any news that might encourage me to average---or should I just get out??

I still think there might be recovery potential in this share--it is a profitable company. Anyone agree or am I mad???

Arko Holdings are agood company with plenty of potential and the true price for this share is more in the 6p to 9p range or higher. The one thing that is holding it back is that the chairman or his family (i'm not exactly certain)hold 95% of the shares. So only 5% of the shares are being traded. I've read on another board that the company is trying to resolve this "share" situation. It could be that things are about to be sorted and an rns is imminent. If that is the case these will rocket maybe 150/200%

Moving up again today I am feeling much happier --maybe because a large fund whose name I can't remember bought 20% of Arko 2days ago and another large chunk yesterday. Don't ask where I read it I can't remember. Perhaps someone else will have read it?

moneyplus, I got interested in this stock a couple of months a go, could have been the spike upwards(i bought into it). have you got any info on the fund. I have read up a bit about the family hold on the stock and the bit in the share magazine helped explain about the price being upwards of 9p if this changes. any info appreciated

Notice there has been a little movement in SP lately perhaps results are due. They make a profit and I am still planning on averaging soon. No other info. to pass on --sorry. Maybe Share mag can give us some up to date news.

share mag like this stock it would appear. I know the family of major stock holders are one of the reasons it hasn't shifted upwards as yet hopefully they will change their stance and let some shares go.

I intend to average soon and then forget it for a while. They are getting rid of the loss making parts and the terminal is doing well. I think there may be much better news in 2005.

maybe I should be thinking of christmas presents for my nearest and dearest and look at things in the new year. Unless there is resounding good news of course. thanks
